Elizabeth Beeker

Elizabeth Beeker, owner of By Design Birth Services, is passionate about supporting women throughout their birth experience. Born and raised in Hillsdale County, Elizabeth knows the importance of community, and its role in birth work.

With a BA in Ministry Leadership through Moody Bible Institute, Elizabeth serves her community both through birth work and ministry. She is passionate about evidenced-based practices and equipping mamas with everything they need to have a positive birth experience. Elizabeth was trained through a DONA International and has continued to grow her skill sets to serve her clients. She has had additional training in the rebozo, trauma informed care, birth rights and advocacy, and is CPR certified. She has experience in birth as a midwife assistant serving in the Amish community and has recently dove into Birth Photography as a passion and additional service for her clients. 

When not doing birth work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband watching movies, cooking, playing games, and spending time outdoors. She is also a huge coffee lover! Elizabeth accepts both cash and medicaid clients. Elizabeth services within Hillsdale, Jackson, Branch, and other surrounding counties to give mothers the support they need as they navigate this new chapter.

Elizabeth works in a doula partnership with Karina Gerbers, so if you have one of them as your doula, you’ll likely bump into both 🙂
